| Ben
Kendall is an up and coming second rower who
has just graduated from the clubs under 18's
section, and after having a spell with
Dewsbury Rams Academy has already caught the
eye in preseason fixtures for Thornhill, big
things are expected of Ben during the next
couple of years. |

| Danny is
an impressive try scoring game breaking
stand off who has recently returned to the
club after a successful season with the
Dewsbury Rams academy where he was voted the
under 21's player of the season, Danny is
sure to be picked up by another pro team
before the season ends. |

| Scott is a
former England Students captain and is now a
full Great Britain International.
Played for the Doncaster Dragons Academy
before moving to Dewsbury Rams during season
2005 and then onto the Trojans where he has
become a mainstay in the pack. BARLA South
Africa tourist this year. |

| Chris is
the current speedster in the Thornhill and
has the pace to burn off any opponent over
the length of the field and is extremely
strong close to the line. Yet another
product of the Trojans Under 18's who has
undoubtedly a very big future in front of
him in the Amateur game. |

| Model
professional who has spent time in the pro
ranks with Oldham, Rochdale, Hunslet and
Dewsbury. "Patch" is enjoying his second
spell at the Trojans and has been massively
influential for the club this season and his
leadership qualities are second to none,
signed on for yet another season. |

bustling
no nonsense prop type of forward who punches
well above his weight, Danny has spent
time playing professionally for Dewsbury
Rams during 2004/2005. Spent his entire
junior career at Thornhill playing at every
age level and has gained Yorkshire
representative honours. |

| Head Coach, nominated for the 2003/2004
National Conference player of the year.
Previously with Dewsbury Rams in 2004. An
Irish international who has also played
professionally for Hunslet Hawks and
Gateshead Thunder, Scott is an outstanding
playmaker. |

| Jason
announced his retirement as head coach for
the Trojans in 2006 but will continue as a
player, joined Dewsbury as a 17 year old
after gaining Yorkshire county honours with
Thornhill. Has also played pro for Hunslet,
Gateshead and again for Dewsbury during
2004. |

| Flying
winger who has already gained a reputation
as a fearsome finisher, still only 19 years
of age, a big future within the professional
ranks surely awaits him for sure. Last seasons
Under 18's players player of the year.
Already being courted by several
professional clubs. |

| Craig is
most at home in the fullback position but
can also play in the three quarters, runs
well into the line to support play, Craig is
an exceptional goal kicker who is also a
Great Britain full International with a tour
to South Africa under his belt during the
summer of 2007 |

Dewsbury Rams and Gateshead Thunder.
Rejoined the Trojans during the 2003 season
and has been a lynch pin in the Trojans pack
this season. Player and players player of
the year in season 2004/2005. |

toured Australia during 2004 as BARLA vice
captain and was then promoted to the full captains
role during 2006. Then went onto to lead the
highly successful BARLA South Africa tour in 2007. voted the Heavy Woollen district player
of the year in 2001/2002. |

| Rob is a
winger or centre who originally played for
the Trojans but he is yet another who showed
the potential to play in the professional
ranks with Dewsbury Rams. Played for
Scotland during the 2005 season. |

| A BARLA
Under 18's international who played with
Dewsbury Rams during 2004, then
rejoined the Trojans at the beginning of
2005/2006 and quickly formed a truly
formidable half back partnership with Scott
Dyson. |

| Shane is a
big strapping prop or second rower who
joined Thornhill in late 2005 from Dewsbury
Moor having previously played in the NCL for
Huddersfield Sharks. Has played
professionally for Dewsbury Rams. |

| Simon
joined the Trojans from Batley Boys in the
summer of 2005 and has been a regular in the
first team ever since putting in some very consistent
performances, brother of Dewsbury Rams Luke
Haigh. |

| Thomas is
a winger who has played for Dewsbury Rams
Academy. Thomas has progressed through the
junior and youth ranks at Thornhill,
debateable as to whether or not he is faster
than Chris Walker. |

| Big Strong
winger who is very difficult to stop when
close to the line. Originally with the clubs
Under 18's before being snapped up by
Wakefield Trinity. Returned to the Trojans
in 1998 and has been a regular ever since. |

| Loose
forward who is one of the stars of the
club's Under 18's team. His talents have
earned him a call up to the 1st team this
season. Made his debut at Oldham St. Annes
in the first game of the season. |

| James was
a product of the club’s successful Under
18’s. James has played for the Dewsbury Rams
Academy and Alliance teams and has been
called up to the Yorkshire squad in recent
seasons as well as GB U21's. |

| Scrum half
or full back James Craven appears to be
another player for the future after playing
for the first team last season. An
impressive summer playing for Dewsbury Rams
Academy has seen his reputation grow. |

has been a regular in the Thornhill team for
a number of seasons. A big powerful prop who
can also operate equally as effective in the
second row. |

| Ben is
recent recruit for the Trojans from the
successful Dewsbury Rams Academy. Ben made
his impressive debut at Siddall and is
equally at home in the centres or second
row. |

| Lee is
another product of the clubs successful
junior section, an "A" team regular who
forced his way into the first team. "A" team
player of the year in 2005-2006 |

| Took up
playing rugby league while playing in the
armed forces. On leaving the army he wanted
to keep playing the game and joined
Thornhill Trojans in the summer of 2007. Has
made such an impression since joining that
he is already a first team regular. |

joined Thornhill in the summer of 2005 from
Batley Boys. Has been a first team regular
at Thornhill ever since. Brother of Dewsbury
Rams hooker and ex Trojan Luke Haigh. |

| Former
professional player with Dewsbury Rams.
Signed for Dewsbury Rams from St. John
Fishers and made his professional debut in
1999. Played at Dewsbury until 2003 and then
had a short spell on loan at York. Picked up
a serious injury while playing for York.
Made a playing come back at Thornhill in
2006/07 season. |

| Liam is a
promising youngster who has moved up to the
open age section for 2006/07 Liam made his
senior open age debut in 2006 in the win
against East Hull. Has played for
Huddersfield Giants Academy. |

| Steve
"Nuggett" Naylor has just returned to the
Trojans after missing last season. The vast
experience of Steve will be a major factor
in helping the Trojans develop the youth
currently coming through the ranks. |

| Vinny is a
vastly experienced player who plays prop or
second row who alternates between the 1st
and "A" teams as and when his services are
required. |
